For those new to how podcasting works or even what it is, here’s a little primer to make sure you can totally grasp and consume this wrestling talk show.
A podcast is a serially-downloaded audio format. When you “subscribe” to a podcast, you will automatically get updates delivered to your computer, smartphone or other mobile device. Of course, you can just log on to this page and click play just as easily as you can anything else.
So here’s how you can listed to the show.
Bookmark the page and listen on the web
Simply bookmark/favorite www.monarchmatcast.com and look for updates from the show. You’ll be notified of new shows if you join our mailing list, available on the right side of this website. No, we won’t sell or spam your email account. This show will have 24 yearly episodes. Some months may have three shows, but that’s all dependent upon the schedule and the news.
iTunes by Apple contains the largest directory of podcasts in the world. If you already have iTunes on your computer, simply click this link and your browser will take you to the iTunes directory page of this show. All you have to do then is click “View in iTunes” and click the subscribe button. You will need a free Apple account to do so.
Using your mobile device
One reason podcasts have become increasingly popular is because of their implementation into smartphones like Android and iOS devices. If you’re on an Apple iPhone or other iOS device (like an iPod or iPad), there’s an app in the App Store called “Podcasts.” This is free to download. Search “Podcasts” in the App Store to find it. With the next update of the iPhone software (iOS 8), the “Podcasts” app will automatically be part of your phone. So you won’t need to download anything else, just search the show and boom, hit subscribe.
Some people might not like playing with Apple or iTunes or even that app. You can add the RSS feed to your favorite app like DownCasts (there are several out there, but some do cost money) and subscribe that way. Another free option for those using both iOS and Android devices is called Stitcher Radio. The app is free and you can search for the show and add it to your favorites there. You can also click this link to take you to the Stitcher Radio page. Underneath the “How to Listen” menu on this page, there’s a dropdown menu of how you can listen to the show on other apps.
